My Physical Media Collection

1/29/2026

Hello everyone. For the past 2 or so years, collecting physical media (i.e. CDs, DVDs, Vinyls, etc.) has become one of my biggest hobbies. Not only is the experience of having them just cool, and having guaranteed ownership of the stuff I want reassuring, but it also allows me to just completely skip out of streaming services.

Ok, starting with DVDs: Honestly with my DVDs I've got most of what I want at the moment. What you see here are most of my favorite films, both on blu-ray and dvd, really happy about my collection here. Also have a few shows, including my favorite, Joe Pera Talks With You, that I got off Etsy.

ALSO, I also got the entirety of Lost on DVD for christmas after I watched the whole thing and loved it. Here's my history books too because they're on the shelf too. I don't read too much beyond them.

Second is my CDs, honestly I was really shocked at just how many CDs i had after I moved back in, they're almost too much to fit on my shelf anymore with the CD player also there. Not as much stuff that I want on here but that's also because I've always been more of a music guy. Really proud of my 4 Takanaka CDs I've got here, and the Oneshot soundtrack that's probably my rarest, I haven't actually ever seen it listed anywhere because it was part of a limited run collector's edition.

Lastly, a new addition to my physical media, my records! Got a record player for christmas and have started getting a few here and there since. I've mostly stayed off from collecting records because of how much more expensive they are compared to CDs. Playing them is a cool experience though, one that I described in on Spacehey.
